People who try to reach the UK in a rubber boat, are unlikely to make a contribution to the Conservative party.
Wealthy foreigners, on the other hand, are quite likely to give money to Conservatives, so they are most welcome.
How do these people end up in Parliament? It means there is an area in England where most people, when confronted with the question: "Who should represent your area in Parliament.?" , answered: "That guy. The blatantly corrupt one."
How does that happen?
Appantly there are areas in England where the majority of the people are just awful, or monumentally stupid.
It's an uncomfortable thought, but that's how people like that end up in the House of Commons.

Sorry, but he DID have a point as regards all the dinghy-divers being allowed to flood-into the UK that are so far costing the government/taxpayer 5 MILLION POUNDS each week to keep. This is utterly unsustainable, and with every passing day MORE arrive, adding to the cost. We simply can't keep this up …… we're going to end-up a bankrupt Third World country ourselves at this rate.

How can these people be in public life in Britain when their hatred for poor people, and apparently for the ones in boats, is so visceral? How have we become a country that hates the most vulnerable? We used to be a place that helped Granny carry her shopping but nowadays we give her a bloody good kicking. I am ashamed of this country.
