Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

Ladder is just beautiful
Is there footage of making the ladder supports before they were drilled in?
Could it be an idea NOT to fix the ladder and keep it mobile moveable removable?… Or would that encroach on plans ?
Fingers far too close to saw Sir 😣
Please be careful..!. The dowel rod could be held further back .
👍
Looks brilliant 👏🏻
Top job 👌🏻😎😍
😍😍😍
Looks good.Just don't go up them in a short skirt.
Sorry, your ladder and balcony are an accident waiting to happen
I just binged all of your build videos. Thank you. for the inspiration. A thought on the rebar balusters: i think there is a technique to oil steel with some heat that will seal the metal and darken it to a blue/black. It might be a better look that paint
The "sladder" in the middle would drive me mad! lol''
Great job!
Cheers!
These rods are reinforcing rods we used to live in Spain , we used them for our extension for our foundations , then like you we used them for some our gates , love what you have done I’m so envious , enjoy , xx
It is tinta fosca
Belt sanders are the business I can't get one in the Philippines God bless Leroy Merlin..
If the crack really bothers you get a carpenters syringe squirt epoxy in it and clamp it together with G clamps.
Wow what a great finish to your ladder it is so nice to see you both working together ❤ and I love your backing music look forward to seeing the final vlog xx
Hey guys, love the house, and cats! Looking forward to all your shows. Two carpentry comments; why don’t you trim out the frames of the skylights? Theo you should get a table saw! Kind of disappointed that you made the steps with cleats instead of mortising them in. You can do it Theo. Amazing so many things you’ve done!
Really enjoyed watching today, the ladder is great, enjoyed the music too. Well done you've done a great job xx
What is stuck to your nose ?
Could you make the ladder moveable ,like a library ladder,so it’s not in the way!
maybe closer to the wall, where the mirror is!
That way your not looking through it,when sitting !
Gourgeous guys.
Smal and simple is better.
Theo's socks MATCH!!
The weather changes, there quite a bit in Alaska, you should know that?
What about a grinder that will take off more, quicker?
It looks brand new now, your home, is awesome and great work you both put into the barn.
Just seen you on a tv programe from years ago when you lived on a narrowboat in Birmingham. Xxx super boat. X1
