  1. Love this channel! I have personally interacted with these awesome people in Porto, over sushi! They are welcoming, kind, knowledgeable, and super rad. I recommend their services and videos to everyone we meet!

  2. Hi, I’m arriving in Portugal (D7) with temporary accommodations but longterm. I intend to find a place to rent but I don’t know exactly where yet. I want to explore the country, areas, etc. My question is , will SEF accept the temporary accommodations during the interview? BTW we’re moving as retirees.

  3. Hi Josh and Kalie, just wondering how did you manage to get the Criminal Background Certificate since you have been moving around the world for the past years and the validity is for 3 months?

  4. Hi Kaley and Josh! Just to confirm, with the D7 visa I have to stay in the country for 6 months and 1 day? My plans are to split my time between the US and Portugal (6 months in USA and 6 months in Portugal)

  5. Informative video as always. My husband and I really love your D7 course!

Can you speak to when one’s first six months begins? For instance we are required to stay in country for six months of every year – when does that first six months begin? After VFS or after SEF?

Also what’s a good rule of thumb for timing travel to – and lodging in – Portugal after the VFS interview?

  6. This is the best channel! I learned so much from Josh and Kalie. We will purchase the D7 Visa package. Kalie, thank you very much for your email regarding my D7 visa questions.

  7. Always learn so much from you two. Must we stay in Portugal for 6 months (starting from the date of our SEF approved appointment) before we can leave the country?

  8. Hi Kalie and Josh,
I just watched the live stream very informative. I do have a question I mentioned to you the other day I was approved for the D7 visa and had sent my passport to the embassy I just received my passport couple days ago with the visa so my move date was November 16 on the application but now my SEF isn't until June 22, 2023. So the visa is good from November 17- March 16 so my new plans are to arrive in Portugal around March 10 is this okay? Thanks in advance.

  9. I am in the UK and I’m doing my second visit to Portugal next week I have seen Land that I’m thinking about buying but not necessarily moving on just yet but I am hearing so many different stories about visas and different things it’s getting very confusing what if I work in the UK and buy land in Portugal and I just need to come back to U.K. every Couple of months I work on line most of time

  10. Hey I get it Portuguese is a tough language but doesn’t Kaley already speak Spanish? So how is all -American Josh able to pronounce Portuguese words like Leiria but Kalie can’t? Not that it’s important but just noticing. Plus the word Leiria is pretty straightforward. Oh well. Congrats Josh, you have a gift for languages.
