This is great information Joric! We considered using a ferry/train combo for our visit to Setubal back in November but determined a non-stop bus from the Sete Rios or Oriente station was quicker.
Nonetheless, if the challenges with living in Lisbon prove to be too much for us to overcome, we'd consider the "South Lisbon" communities you noted–we just don't know enough about them. Could a future episode consider some of these "South Lisbon" living alternatives?
