  1. We are now in Porto and there are quite a few of those renovations are ongoing along the river. As you note, everything inside is gone. Thank goodness, as the character of the neighborhood will remain the same but with just refreshed traditional facades rather than new construction.

  2. I've watched so many channels that have people taking these abandoned properties like this and old farms in central Portugal and returning them to their former glory. Personally I think that's a good thing for Portugal. Just don't want to see flippers like we have here in the US.
