  2. Just got back from Portugal on Monday! Loved it so much, but we stayed in Alfama, which I felt was a little too far from the main areas like Barrio Alto and Chiado. We did a super good Devour food tour in Lisbon!

  3. Sadly, Portugal is perhaps the only European country where travelers arriving directly from the U.S. — without a EU DCC or comparable certificate — still have to provide a pre-departure test, because the paper CDC card isn't considered valid.

  4. One of my favorite places in the world. Be sure to get one of the 24 hour metro passes that also lets you take the trams, funiculars, the Eiffel elevator, and basically everything else as much as you like. They're still only 6.45 Euros, which is quite a deal for a tourist. Loved riding around on those cute yellow trolleys, even if I didn't always know where I was going! My favorite restaurant, by far: Sacramento do Chiado. Great atmosphere, great food, great location, not too expensive.

  5. Hi, just returned from Lisbon and Porto and it was amazing. Of note, an amazing and not expensive restaurant in Lisbon I strongly recommend: « Os Bons Malandros »
