  1. Most English Speaking people that are moving to Portugal all have something in common and that is learning the language and also being confronted by the various accents. We actually started this sometime ago and then stopped for awhile but we think it would be a most enjoyable way of learning Portuguese or any language for that matter. So…we normally make karaoke but what we are now doing with Portuguese songs is making them as karaoke but also placing the English translation under each sentence, colour coded and all those good things with the track with and without vocals. We are doing this with all the Portuguese accents ie European Portuguese, Angolan, Mozambican, Brazilian etc. So please join our channel subscribe hit a like and enjoy learning some Portuguese through music. Our goal has a multi purpose as we do this for hard of hearing and deaf people to also enjoy the lyrics. Our channel is called Cyborg Entertainment & Karaoke Production please join drag some friends along. Thank you

  2. Any advice as to where to find a longer term rental (2-3months) in the Setubal area for a EU National, & his American wife? We have wanted to retire in Portugal for a long time, and when restrictions lift, we would like to jump!

  3. I've been looking at the middle of portugal with lower summer temps looks like we could afford to buy an apartment. I guess that's a condo? Seen crazy estimates for food from other youtubers. Would by local and lower cost.

  4. Love your youtube videos! Hubby and I are making plans to visit in April. Can you tell me if there are people there that suffer with environmental allergies and also is the area you live in effected by the wild fires? I have eustachian tube dysfunction which makes my sinuses full and clogged when I breathe in small particles of dirt, smoke and pollen. I have to be very careful where we decide to live so I'm not suffering too much.

  5. I am ready to pack up my kids and move to have the experience of another culture. I just need to figure out all the things to consider and what country is best. Portugal seems so promising. What about my English speaking kids in school? Do they have schools that have many expats or something like that?

  6. I can most definitely understand an American wanting to leave the US. The USA has become a country of such massive problems. I honestly don't know how it can survive if it doesn't fix itself. With that said. I would think it would be rather expensive settling in another country, since one would still owe taxes to the US as long as they hold US citizenship. I never hear that mentioned in videos on this subject, and I think its important Americans know that.

  7. I would like to have a base in Europe, but I am not sure which country. Portugal is high on my list of places to land. I am wondering should I visit some of the other countries first or find that "base" in Portugal to hop on the trains and explore from there.
