very cool so many beautiful animals everywhere in portugals nature! We are camping for a few weeks now in the serra the estrella area and it's amazing all the bird and other animal sounds outside. Especially in the early morning. Thanks for sharing!

I have heard that there are mongoose in Portugal, especially in areas near water and that they and the foxes will kill your chickens and your turkeys (and perhaps small pets???), if they are not properly caged/supervised?
