Lost in Portugal ( CrAzY day One )

i Got Lost in Portugal ( day One ), here is a video of @iam_marwa getting lost in Lisbon Portugal, Lizboa Portugal
Portugal is a southern European country on the Iberian Peninsula, bordering Spain. Its location on the Atlantic Ocean has influenced many aspects of its culture: salt cod and grilled sardines are national dishes, the Algarve’s beaches are a major destination and much of the nation’s architecture dates to the 1500s–1800s, when Portugal had a powerful maritime empire.

  1. Marwa, why aren't you speaking Spanish instead of English? Portuguese is closer to Spanish and people are more likely to answer you in Spanish than in English. Also the Metrolines are colour coded in Europe so you should know which Metroline colour goes to where.

  2. You are an awesome traveler, getting lost in a foreign land and remaining sane is amazing. Not many people can do what you do especially not booking accommodation prior to arrival. I wish you luck as you continue your tour of Europe. Cheers to you man

  3. And we are well over a million in Lisbon… take the train in Rossio and stop in Amadora… you will see a new world, in another word, you will see people from Angola, Cape Verde, Guine Bissau, Mozambique, Brazil, Sao tome Principe and more.. new Africa, far from the eyes of the tourists… 🤙

  4. When you asked if that water was from the sea or not, this is the famous River TEJO. It was on this river that the famous caravels of Portuguese pirates departed, to capture more slaves… and this place where you looking for an hostel is called "Bairro Alto" in the past Africans suffered a lot in this place. .. if you find an old man around, ask him about the (o poco dos negros) "black pit" the place where they used to put the corpses of the black community at the time of slavery.

  5. Subway in Portugal it's called (Metro) & train it's called (Comboio) than tou have terrain (Metro) you will see in the same road where cars go pass as well. Yes any time you need to catch subway (Metro) or train (Comboio) you need to drop up your card, you can pay with bank card or cash in the machine also try to ask train station workers if they speak English because some may speak it or some people in the station. All the best.

  6. My mother said: "Do not ever eat breads together with gazeous sodas, the gas will make your belly swell permanently, resulting in your figure developing into an unsightly bloated body appearance." Ha! Ha! "Michelin Tire" Boy! Pillsbury Dough Boy! Aunt Jemima Lady! …

  7. Marwa, hope you keeping well. If you stuck regarding communicating with people in Portuguese we can help whenever we available, also if you get in issues get in contact we can get someone to help you out but we know you can find your way from experience you have travelling. Many of us Melanino/as live in so called bairros (ghettos) in Portugal same you seen in America & other places. Have a good time discovering, bem-vindo 🙂
