There is no evidence of an abduction, albeit you must admit that Christian is an experienced burglar. With what the McCanns left for him(everything open) it was possible to snatch the girl without leaving anything or almost anything. But that is contradicted by their lies and inconsistencies in their statements.
I'm not Christian's side (never been, never will be), I'm on Maddie's side. If he did it so be it but then show the evidence supporting it. Unfortunately the evidence and my intuition floats into another direction.

Public Prosecution here in Portugal 🇵🇹 has nominated him "arguido" . Period. Portuguese press (NOT, NEVER BRITISH) said it was to keep the case open because of the statute of limitations. Period.

Hi Pat. It is nearing the 15th anniversary of the alleged abduction. The statute of limitation on a serious crime in Portugal is 15 years.. How convenient that Operation Grange is shutting down this year, but the Portuguese need to keep the case open and a patsy being made Arguido allows the case to continue. Beyond OG, they feel they will have the freedom to re-investigate what they have been prohibited from doing for so long. There is no news here of CB being charged. That is probably a MSM hype. The evidence that is available points to the McCann pair being involved in the disappearance and not some random creep. I’m disgusted but not surprised. I have followed this case from Day 1 and it is so fascinating and shocking. The most shocking was Scotland Yard starting their investigation excluding the parents, what a horrifying waste of $14 million. I see many similarities to the Cayley Anthony case including the resemblance. I’ve read the books on the most noted profilers – Douglas, Hazelwood, and you, Pat. I didn’t expect as much from you because you were deprived of the opportunities and resources of the FBI. That said, you rose to the top because you analyzed by the evidence. Hazelwood and Douglas in particular, had strong reliance on intuition! You would think that’s counter intuitive to the FBI method, especially the Behavioral Science Unit. The bs in that case never stops. Every couple of years LE brings out a creep and say they are investigating him related to the Madeline McCane case. Nothing ever comes of it. It is usually a man who is known for SA previously.
In my opinion, poor Madeline has been dead since the night her mother went to the restaurant and said that Madeline was ‘taken.’ It was likely an accident maybe she got up from bed and discovered there were no adults there. She became scared and stated looking for them. She may have fell causing grave injury. When mommy came back she was dead. The father walked down to the ocean with her and hid her until later they moved the body. There are many caves in the area and wild areas no one visits. This is my hypothesis.
Like the JBR case the case of missing Madeline McCane will never receive Justice. One or the other adults are involved it’s likely there was a cover up by the other adults.

Absolutely agree with everything that you said however what you didn't say was conspicuous by it's absence. If it was "political" 9which I agree it was) then that begs the question …why? And I know that you don't want to get involved with the "conspiracy theories" but the "conspiracy theories" offer the only logical explanation for this "political" decision.
