We are half way through the rendering on this old house and can’t wait to move on. The good thing is, it’s satisfying to see the results. Bit of effort always feels good.
Good opportunity to do a spot of welding too.

Nice to see the welder out again and you burning rods Andy
Nice job.
Hi Andy, respect for the hard work and your humor of course 😅. Question; where did you buy the MH-19? I have not found it yet here in the Eastern Algarve… Thank you & keep smiling 😊
👍 👍 👍
Great work as ever. I love watching these episodes. Until I manage to move down to the Algarve myself, I'm living it through your channel instead. 👍
Andrew, for the welding if you were to turn the piece you are welding so it is flat it would make it a bit easier (while you are learning). Thanks for the videos
You scared the hell out of me. Welding gives sparks and you were next to the bamboo screen.
Just noticed you are over 2million views, nice one, keep up the great content

You guys are doing an amazing job. Great skills 👍
what brand of render do u use there
🙂
Love the render Andy! You've all done such a great job! Decorative tile accent or stencil on chimney might be nice after painting the roof area? I'm sure the trees you planted would have loved all that rain! How are they holding up after the long dry summer?
that chimney! beautiful. And your white shirt and hat are a perfect match
Andy, on YouTube there are videos on how to work the rod so there’s penetration and metal buildup from the rod. In the beginning you might want to weld the pieces in a flat position. Not up or down. It takes a lot of practice. And resting one arm against something stabilizes ether welding arm nd hand. Gotta have stability so you have control of the tip of the rod. Your welding arm floating in air is almost impossible to control the rod in those tiny movements needed.
Are thunderstorms scarier in the countryside? I mean, you seemed properly scared!
2:15 Crikey! Those are almost big enough to eat!
(joking don't do that)
I like those moments where things make you laugh or catch you off guard such as the thunder in this vlog. Chimney looks great even if it took two days to do. 🏴
So, your message from this week for next week is….🎶🎵
' Return to render'.
Great job you all did with the roof terrance!
The chimney is now a “feature” instead of an eyesore.
Beautiful work! Envious of your patience. Love how chimney came out and great idea for umbrella stand. @ James beautiful TV table
Love the finish that you've achieved on the rendering – well done one and all. Do you get Woodpeckers out your way – they'd love those bugs !
Hi ,nice job love all your vids , bit of advice please , I'm back out at my project end of month , and I'm going to be having a go at some rendering, what render are you using? I have a new extension which is bare red clay blocks, can the render go straight on? Do I need a cement scratch coat first or maybe a grit render adhesive what's your advice cheers Paul
