Hi Kirsty, Personally I love these videos, and all your videos so far. For me (also attempting to renovate, but a home not a stone barn watching how you use your tools and what each sort can do is so helpful for me. Also the reality of your videos, how long it really takes, and things miscalculated, how to resolve them all brutal honest reality of what you are doing in creating your own home from scratch. Doing most of it yourself, as I said for me brilliant. Also encouraging. thanks so much

You are ok with what your doing, you will learn as you go. Think about cutting into lime work as damp could be an issue. Good luck take your time and learn your tool use as you go cheers

Good morning a little tip on your grinder is probably time to change the electrical brushes in it they were out overtime and clean the armature With some steel wool to it is a shiny brass and blow it clean it’s an easy fix and put it back together and ready to go 👍✌️🤙❤️🇵🇹❤️

I enjoy videos such as this one with a single focus because you maintain entertaining, but informative chat throughout. In other words, they are not one bit boring.

I noticed in you video that you have some random, broken terracotta roof tiles and you have mentioned getting your timber ready for heating. If you add some broken tiles to your fire they will conduct and hold some heat. Any broken bits would be good.

as an fyi: i like Your channel. with no Music. because when I watch channels from Portugal or any place…. with music, I mute it. reasons their taste is not mine or it does not match the video… some of the channels are friends of yours in Portugal… for me please do not worry about paying for music…. Luke & sarah have very little music. Love their channel. Nick and Andriea… I mute music because it does not do anything form me. ….. Cindy Vine.. love her but mute music.

So enjoyed this video. I felt I was sharing each frustration with you and find your patience and problem-solving process really inspiring. Every time I seem to take on a DIY project it ends up being far more complicated than I expected or planned for. Which in turn generally leads me to either give up or certainly makes me less motivated to take on the next project. You are obviously far more skilled, but that aside, you just seem to approach things differently. That slow, methodical, thoughtful approach, taking on each setback creatively is what I need! I need a different mindset! Or perhaps a different brain! Also loved the fact you stopped for lots of naps. Self-care is a must! 'Squarish' is the way forward! Thank you. x
