Will ESPNFC ever talk about anyone other than man city and Liverpool
Splashing cash? What a surprise. Don't forget to deduct all the Balti pie sales, we calculate everything now don't we? 🤔
If France win another wc maybe mbappe is the goat?
This is really an un-informed headline
Splash cash eh? Hope you’re keeping track of sales as well because they are set to make a profit this summer.
We'll see you then.
And ? We’ve sold a lot of fringe and academy players. In the last few seasons. Looks like Sterling, Jesus, Ake, Zinchenko and possibly Silva will go. Bringing in over £200m. Net spend trophy is ours too.
wonder if they would have used that title if it was trafford yanited or liverpool or chelsea signing players. who am i kidding i already know the answer to that
Liverpool by 5 points next season.
Thx for NOT sensoring Yan's comments with an American filter.
Fabino replacement?! We shall see…
An English international or a brasilian international, I'll always take the brasilian.
City are doin it the best in this Market. Torres Out -£55 million. Halaand/Alvarez In -£ 65 million.
Gavin Baznu Out – £15 million
Kalvin Phillips In – £42 million
Darko Gyabi Out -£ 5 million
Gabriel Jesus Out -£45 million
Zack Steffan Out – Loan
Ortega In – FREE
And they still haven't even touched their summer Transfer Budget 🤯
Citeh, filthy dictatorship state funded monopoly continues to make a mockery of FFP.
Hoovering up thousands of youth players trading them up for a profit, the cycle is replicated up the ages.
As for Philips he's had one ok season in a promoted side, then flopped last season with injuries, he looked woeful post Bielsa.

ESPN FC or LiVARpool TV? 😂
The anti Manchester City bias from both the media, and opposing fanbases is so lame! "Man City splash more cash"?!?🤷♂️🤦♂️ Ok so even after signing Haaland & Alvarez. City's net spending for 2022 was at a slight surplus. Having received 55 million for Torres, and roughly another 20 million from outgoing Academy players. And now City fleeced Leeds to sign Phillips for only 42 million. Which was an another incredibly shrewd transfer! But City are about to sell Jésus for 45 million to Arsenal. And Sterling is also likely to get sold for even more than Gabriel. Man City haters love to attempt to belittle City's success. By pointing out their spending. But the truth is Man City are very savvy operators. Nearly every player they sign turn out to be bargains! Become better/more valuable players under Pep. And get sold for more than City paid for them. All the big club's spend money! You have to if you want to compete… It's not that you spend money. It's how you spend it, who you spend it on, and how you develop the players you sign!💯 Man City have best in class personnel at every level in the club. Why they are becoming a juggernaut over the last 10-12 years! Oh & if you were keeping track. If City sell Gabriel Jésus & Raheem Sterling. That will bring their 2022 net spending to a 100 + million surplus!
Not even a Messi fanboy, but to hold the opinion that a Mario Gotze wonder goal is the only thing keeping Messi from being in the debate of being the greatest of all time is just stupid beyond belief.
I'm an Arsenal fan and perhaps there are aspects of City's transfer policy we can question, but it looks like we're signing Jesus and City are using that money to purchase Phillips. Not to mention the money City has earned winning the PL title and going deep in the CL. They've spent money of Haaland and look to even recoup money from perhaps letting Sterling go, they are doing great business and you can't be mad about how they've gone about it.
More Cash but Smart Investment is the key term here
Messi is number 1
