Mandani Bay is a waterfront, 20 ha (49 acres) mixed-use development currently under construction on F.E Zuellig Avenue North Reclamation Area, Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines. The development takes its name from “Mandani”, the former name of Mandaue, and “Bay” from its obvious waterfront location. This project is to be developed by HTLand Inc., a joint venture by Hong Kong-based Hong Kong Land and Cebu-based Taft Properties, the real estate arm of Vicsal Development Corporation, which also owns the Metro Retail Stores Group.
Mandani bay offered for sale fully-furnished condo units, from stutio 33sqm, 1br 49sq. & 2br 129sqm. Next building would be commercial space for sale (SOHO) small office home office.
Storied Beginning
Mandani Bay’s story is rooted in Cebu’s rich history
The development’s name traces its origin back to the 1500s, when Europeans first came to Cebu and Venetian scholar Antonio Pigafetta arrived in the island with Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan.
In his book, “First Voyage Around the World”, Pigafetta wrote of a chieftain named Apo Noan from a settlement called “Mandani” – the same land known today as the City of Mandaue.
