We took a tour from Porto to the Douro Valley. Instead of renting a car, we went with Living Tours, who dropped us off at their last stop before they headed back to Porto for the day. We stayed in Pinhão and explored for a few days. In this video, we’re showing you all the stops we made, and how we ended up at one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been!

Tourism up the Douro has picked up tremendously the past five years or so. Ten years ago there were barely any hotels or restaurants.

Ha! Recognize those motion sickness bands! I wore one on each wrist for our flight to and from San Francisco to Lisbon. Also had a motion sickness patch and a sedative!
The Douro Valley looks incredible!! Can't wait to go! Might have to skip the boat tour though.
