Just wanted to add that the awesome 10% tax break (from the non habitual residency) only lasts for 10 years. Then it goes back up to the same high tax rates the Portuguese people are burdened with. It’ll be quite a shock if a person isn’t prepared for that.
Not really seeing anything about the reality of moving to Portugal in this video. Should be something like "my story" instead. Came here to see the ups and downs of your move and cultural differences you experienced, and all you gave me was some hypothetical questions about Costco and the like. Feel like I just wasted 9 minutes. I know this is part of a series but now I have zero desire to check out the rest of your videos.
