Happy Friday Everyone!
I can’t believe it’s almost fall! Am I the only one to say that I am actually looking forward to it? It has been hot here (like high 70s/ low 80s). I know, don’t laugh. I’m sure some of you are reading this and thinking that I’m crazy because that’s perfect weather. Yes, it is lovely and we have been enjoying the pool, but I am just ready to wear some jeans and a nice cozy sweater.
With that being said, I wanted to mix things up a bit from my regular sit down chats. Have you ever wonder what life is after you move to Portugal? Well, I wanted to film what I do on a typical day here. Of course my daily activities change especially depending if its a weekday or weekend. However, I wanted to give you a glimpse of one of my days here in sunny Portugal.
I also will show you how my Portuguese is coming along. Hint- not very well haha, but I’m getting there!
Sidenote, don’t mind my hideous outfit towards the end. Don’t we all have those pair of comfy lounge shorts that we wear when we come home from work? Haha!
Also, now that the kids are back in school, I will be back to filming more travel videos. So stay tuned 🙂

The best part… "ó merda" (oh shit)
I’m sorry may have missed it but who’s your Portuguese teacher?
I'm impressed with your Portuguese. 🙂
Seu Português está excelente Josi 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thai food is probably my favorite type of food. Are there any Thai food restaurants near Caldas or do you have to head to Lisbon? Or make your own? I see Supatra down South of Caldas, no online menu though. We have to travel about 35 minutes where we are now to get Thai food, so anything less than that is a step up.
Your handwriting is excellent….love your videos…..within a year, I hope to be your neighbor in Caldas, or the Caldas area. We are coming out for a 20 day scouting trip in the spring.
… and I said "oh shit". Your portuguese it's on another level. Make a portuguese only speaking day to play and learn with your kids. Could be fun, educational and good family quality time.
