  1. Looking forward to this!!… and, as ever, I wasn't disappointed!
More fantastic aerial footage and fantastic scenery. Seeing the van so tiny compared to the vastness of these dams was awesome!
Some epic one liners too: "takes some cojones to climb up there" and "gotta be careful not to fall off the mountain!"
I'll add my own: the only two icons that could make that campsite any better are you pair of legends 😂

  2. Hi, it's so nice to see you're both enjoying the N2 route and experiencing the local culture on your journey. As traveller's in a van with solar panels, taking energy from nature! We don't mind seeing wind turbines on the landscape, !! Aproveite sua Viagem..

  3. Hi Greg glad to see you and Lou looking well and both enjoying an amazing trip in the N2 areas of Portugal. I have been a Subscriber right from the very early days when you first started your van build and I would like to congratulate you on very deservedly passing the 150 K mark. I really enjoyed this video especially the drone shots and I am looking forward to the next one. Those old stone built windmills seemed to have some really weird blades were any of them still operational ?
I see you rattled a few of the green woke brigade with your comments about the wind farms, I entirely agree with you I think they are a terrible blight on an outstandingly beautiful landscape.
I fully support that we need to produce as much renewable energy as possible but I would really like to see figures showing what the total installation cost of one of these Wind turbines is and compare the value of the energy it produces over it's operational life time. I fully expect their saviour will be Nut job Putins crazy war in Ukraine pushing up world energy prices !! Just goes to prove that old saying " It's an ill wind that blows nobody any good "
Did you ever get to try the spirit made from the berries you tasted please. Have you decided where you are going to spend Christmas? Is there a particular area you are heading for?
Please compliment Lou on her drone flying whilst your driving off into the distance I hope you go back and pick her up and don't make her catch you up when you stop !

  4. Greg they need to support their electricity usage in anyway they can. These wind turbines are there for just this purpose and if spoils your view too bad. I lived in the Scottish Highlands for many years and they are everywhere supplementing power to your home. Just move on.

  5. Stunning episode again! 🙂 Been to Portugal a couple of times already, but haven't seen this part of the country yet. Really have to add that to my bucket list. A general comment: with your clear articulation, you really make it so easy for non-native english speakers to follow – thanks for that.
