The 3rd single from Nathan Schram’s solo record Nearsided on Better Company Records. Initially written during an artist residency in Portalegre, Portugal (the very same residency where GroundUP project, Mirrors, was created), “Portalegre” features Nathan’s electro-acoustic world collaged together with sounds of Becca’s digitally manipulated voice and Antonio’s ever changing and exuberant drums.

This would have to be the worst sound/music Ive heard in many many years.
What is it ?
Blown away by the music in this collaboration. Abstract but formally architected with shape and form. Melodies emerge from rhythms. Harmonies are "perfect" and not just tuning 😉
And the visualizations are MESMERIZING :-O
