NOT GETTING INTO MY FLOW! (..but the fens for the girls is up) – Portuguese House Renovation

We are in the middle of renovating our house in an abandoned Portuguese village. In this episode i am going to build a fens. It is needed to keep Akira from getting puppies… And this way the girls can look on the street.. yeey! First i need to move some stuff. I am still struggling with some distractions in the mind.. so lets do some mindless work. We will get through this!

My name is Jasper and i bought a house in a Portuguese ghost town. Together with my dogs Zoey& Akira we show you the rebuild of our house en what it is like living the daily life in Central Portugal.

  1. Hi Jasper. Durate is a hard worker, you will miss his company and enthusiasm. You'll find your flow, you had a long break and we'll needed rest. The website is amazing and I do hope you find an video editor. That connects and understands who you are and what your trying to achieve in Portugal. The fence looks good, using what's available, it can be upgraded later it serves a purpose now. Another job done, another one ticked off your very long list. Keep up with your yoga, take care, stay safe and keep warm.

  2. It is ok to feel sad, life is a learning experience from beginning to end. Remember though, sunshine always comes after the rain… put those cool sunglasses on and look for the sunshine😎

  3. I am feeling your loneliness and maybe a depressed mood. Go to town and talk to people and restore your lovely self. Take the doggos with you, they feel it too. Hold a party with locals and rejuvenate your soul and mission. xoxoxoxo

  4. The red sand is from a scirroco from Morroco. Have it in Malaga regularly. You wake up to everything coveted in red sannd. Nightmare. Wear a mask if you are working or it fills your lungs.

  5. The area next to the house — where the tiles are now stored — would make a nice herb garden with a path and gate. I cannot remember which end of the house will be for rentals — but if it is this end — it would have a private entrance. If your living accommodations are at this end — it would give you a short cut to the storage area across the street. Until then, I liked how you gave the dogs a look-out point :o) Good luck with your video editing position. I am sure the right person will get the job.

  6. It would be a dream come true to live in the ghost town and be your camera and editing person but alas its a long way from Hawaii. I hope you find a great person to work with and look forward to meeting the final candidate.

  7. Nice fence. And always handy to recycle wood and other stuff.
Take the oil where in you fry. Do'nt trow it away. Use it as stain for your fence. I learend this from a friend who is grown up in the "Zeeuwse klei". He told me that farmers used to do this also. It is cheaper and millieu friendly. My cats lcked the wood when I stained it with the sunflower oil. It must be used oil. Raw oil do'nt work. I always filter it so the big pieces of fry junk are out.
And by the sun it will colour black at the end.
