Yep no other words to describe the last couple of weeks. But I always remain positive and experience tells me it’ll all be good once we got passed this blasted rendering. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, as the saying goes. Ha ha

  1. Wonderful work Andrew, as always very much in love with detail, I really appreciate that about your work.
I am in the neighbourhood visiting my house at the moment.
The Algarve is really beautiful at this time of year, everything green, like spring.
I would be happy if we run into each other sometime. Greetings Florian

  2. Andy, the exterior of the village house is looking amazing, congrats to all of you. Are you guys going to tile the floor of the roof top terrace?

I’m really enjoying your channel, the positivity and passion are such rare commodities these days.

  3. Well, the WiFi worked. Now a days without internet is a disaster. You must be very happy with it working again.
The render looks fantastic fabioso! Super!Yes the drive way needs a good clean up,as well the garage door. But the house became without the clean driveway so nice in before hand. The three of you worked very hard for it.

  4. Great update .. the team is doing awesome.. rendering looks nice , still can’t grasp why you not using a hawk but hey if it’s going on the wall that’s fine . Looking forward to seeing it painted & you guys moving inside.
Can’t imagine the personal man hours on this property.
Take care with safety, I’m 30 years on the wall & accidents happen to us all & I’ve seen many unfortunately.
I’m enjoying all the various products available to you in Portugal, can’t wait to start myself hopefully very soon .

  5. Hey Andy, appreciate your videos, you work hard. House in the village looking fantastic. Hope you get some down time to relax soon. Yes I'm hearing you, life can feel a hard grind at times. Love from New Zealand 💕

  6. This house was a MASSIVE project from the start, Andy. When you first showed the house and explained what yous wanted to do, I thought you've really got your work cut out, but like you said, you're a grafter 👍

  7. I think regardless where we live, as humans we have an array of emotions. Just wanted to acknowledge how you’ve been feeling Andrew, despite this your video is as enjoyable all the same. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

  8. Hi Andy, I follow you on YouTube since your very first post. And I have to say, that you make an excellent job 👍.
    One question :
In your last post there were seen sheeps on your property.
Can you please tell something about this in your next video🙏
How and why did the sheeps come on your property. Is this common in Portugal?
    Best regards
    Eddi

  9. Resilience tenacity and authentic big respect 🙏 loving the colour of first flush under the trees 🌳 with the dogs . Sitting here in very damp Scotland it lifted my spirits as all ur videos do one way or another. 😊 thanks for sharing ….the end of video was real heart string tug WHAT a difference. What an effort ..inspirational If I win lottery I will be bidding 😆 . Well done

  10. Well done on the rendering Andy it finally looks great, a fantastic team effort getting it over the line. Liked the editing at the bottom garage door, the before/after bit without enduring all your graft 😂 chin up matey you’ve cracked that job now.

  11. Andy , you and your 2 compatriots did a GREAT job on that wall and the surrounding area . Just be careful leaving those empty paper bags in that utility room. I’m paranoid about papers and fires . Anyway GREAT JOB and good luck with the new “wifi “ hookup !

  12. Andy, you've come so far!! I"m as impressed as I can be. These are legitimately tough times for many and you have to know that your honesty and your determination bring us all delight and hope, so yes, sir, I will stay happy and stay positive…you do the same!

  13. Loved the vid. What a massive amount of work!! (Peeling hands, been there. You might try getting some olive oil on the inside 👈of u. Two tablespoons per day, I read, delicious on a good French bread, toasted. Lol. Dip bread into. Yum. Coconut oil, grass fed butter not all of these all at once! Organic coconut oil after a shower, apply like lotion, have to rub it in your hands a few moments to melt it unless it’s a warm day.) All things I’ve had to do. If my hands start to crack (painful) I wash them good and rub in Vaseline. It feels greasy for a minute or two but then is ok. I have to keep at it if they’re cracking and I have to wear gloves especially when I’m gardening. Lol a gardener allergic to dirt. Love your channel. Your place looks so beautiful with the green after the rains. 👍❤️ sorry to go on. But we care about u 👍❤️‼️

  14. Andrew, missed you last week!! I have come to really look forward to your episodes. Not going to lecture you on safety, I am somewhat from the same school as you, that said, I did cut my finger off (degloved in medical speak) about four years ago while using a wood splitter. Spent 12 hours in the emergency, they managed to reattach it although it has never been the same. Had a big impact on my ability to play the guitar. Good lesson for me. So keep vigilant, the biggest risks are fatigue and distraction. Your work has been first rate, I really love how the house is coming along. Very much looking forward to see you get going on the interior. By the way, what happened to your chickens? I seem to remember an episode where you set up a coop and a fenced in area. Looking forward to next week’s episode, in the meantime stay safe and happy!!
