We introduce our first volunteers Jana, Oli and Zeus their presence here has already made a difference on our piece of land in Portugal and they have helped us move the caravan and add electricity, clear land and bring down those dreaded processionary caterpillars. We receive a huge package of electronic goodies and Luke introduces his new home-made secret weapon that is going to help us with our land clearing.

I am not sure that your home made mulched is very safe. It obviously works but my heart was in my mouth watching you put branches in it!!

RE processionary caterpillars. . just a quick note to say that if you haven’t already seen it . . check out the Portugal Project video on making some truly amazing traps for these critters and also the follow up video showing how successful they are at catching them. Also means you don’t have to cut down your trees 🌲 😀👍🏻

  13. Just caught up on all the videos. Saw you on Cindy Vines and I love it when there is this sense of community when people can help each other and possibly barter labor for something the other has. I’ve watched your channel every free minute all week and I’ve really enjoyed it. I’m 68, retired and live in South Carolina, US and grew up on a farm as a child. It’s not easy but it is satisfying and there is nothing like eating the food you have grown. Keep up the good work.
