Part 9 -Our Iveco Daily Self Build Minibus Conversion – Dometic Fridge & Ikea Blinds

Part – In this video Elaine builds the stand for the Dometic Fridge and puts up the fantastic Ikea blinds.
We expect that ‘Mungo the Minibus’ will be our full time home for the next few years whilst we travel the UK and Europe, and whilst we work on our land and our little house in Central Portugal. The dream may be starting to become a reality.
Thank you so much for following our journey, love from Elaine and Darren.

  1. Hi! Things came out great in the end. It's so nice watching the progress of your bus. I had to see something else than the news, so thank you both for uploading this 20+ minutes🤍. Hope travel within Europe will be possible. I often end my comments with the colors of our flag in Sweden, and today….well, no words needed. Take care. Love, Katarina 💛💙

  2. Enjoy watching the progress on your new project, I'm sure it will be great when done. What are your plans for Portugal? Do you plan to take this van to Portugal and matriculate it?

  3. Hi Elaine and Darren, the vans looking great, goodness you are a handy women to have around Elaine, I'm terrible at DIY, Max is so gorgeous and loving, give him a hug from me, thanks enjoyed the video 🛠🐕👍

  4. HiElaine Is the bottom shelf mounted to the floor if not you can strap the fridge to the shelf but it will turn over on the rough roads in Portugal you can us upholstery webbing on top of the fridge Mounted it under the screws hinges on top of the fridge and then the other end screw it in to the windowsill. So that it does not rock over And also I would extend the countertop to come over the top of fridge for more Working area and come down the side of the fridge so it’s box it in it’s another idea Just a suggestion might be of some help to you 👍✌️🤙❤️🇵🇹❤️

  5. Elaine and Darren, you are getting closer to living in Mungo. Sometimes it's good to just walk away from a project when things are going wrong. Take a breath, and then come back another day refreshed. It comes together as it always does. Great Job Elaine , Looking forward to the next stage. Sending you lots of love .💖💖 Jim and Harriet.
