Here we play one of the Algarve’s most popular golf courses, Penina. The Championship course was designed by Sir Henry Cotton and offers golfers a vast array of different holes all set out within mature Portuguese countryside.

Here Your Golf Travel play the par-4 7th hole with Mark Crossfield. As you can see the hole is one which combines risk with reward, with many golfers opting to play short of the water which cuts across the fairway, this will bring a longer iron into a small undulating green. Those wanting to hit driver can find themselves with a much shorter club in but run the risk of finding water.
