Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet gampeplay is still a mystery to us, but that only means we that Pokémon speculation is on the menu until the next Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet trailer comes out. Here we’re looking at 5 things I want to see in the Gen 9 games releasing in late 2022, focusing on past features from Sword and Shield & a rework of the Pokémon Gym System!
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are the new Gen 9 games and while we only have the reveal trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, there’s a lot we can try to discover about this new Pokémon Region based on Portugal & Spain (Iberian Peninsula) and its secrets, by looking at its real world counterpart. It’s time for some Pokémon speculation!
Let’s get into it!

I don’t get why people don’t like experience share.
1: more than 242 pokemon this time
2: fully open world
3: porygon
4: a good gimmick, not just stronger moves like gen 7 games and legends arceus
5: yes, optional exp. share
5 things I'd like to see in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet:
1. An excellent gameplay experience.
2. Lots of different ways to interact/ play with your pokemon (like pokemon amie, camping, etc).
3. Fun multiplayer games, mini games, side quests, puzzles, mysteries to solve, etc.
4. Great storyline.
5. And memorable gameplay experiences.
thanks for like my great comments.
NO MORE DEX CUT IN ALL THE FUTURE POKEMON GAMES!
Here's what I'm hoping for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet games:
1. After see the starter Pokemon in the games I'm hoping for their middle and final evolved form designs to be very good just like the Johto, Unova, Kalos and Alola starter Pokemon.
2. The return of trainers customise outfits and hair styles.
3.Bring back the graphic scenery background and characters designs from the people who did Pokemon Sword/Shield.
4. Have the Wonder Trades, Link Trade and Global Trade System on Pokémon Scarlet & Violet games. This time with Pokemon Home update to it after Pokémon Scarlet & Violet games released in November.
5.The released of more Rare Pokeballs on the game like Level, Moon, Love, Lure, Friend, Heavy, Dream and Safaria Balls.
Hi Ace. Let's go for my 5 things list :
– Seasons. Like BWB2W2 had.
– Haversting berries (the field in XY was great) and then making cocktails and juice out of your crops.
– Pokepelago to be back. Please. So funny this living PC box storage kind of minigame. With more interaction with your mon this time. Like camping in SwSh too.
– Postgame in the future. You beat the elite four (or whatever the game has for us), rolling credits, the end. Saving please wait. Starting your file again : BAM!!! 5 years, or so, have past, your character grew up a bit, tiny things and/or big things changed all around the region. A second story line begins for maybe 25 hours playing.
– Minigames with internet ranking. A bit like a Mario Party but with your pokemon. A worldwide HGSS Pokéathlon thing in a way.
But anything should do, really. I'm happy just being hyped again like I probably was in Alola's era. SwSh hyped me too back in the days but not that much compared to SM. ORAS hyped me the most, just to say. Cheers
1. Remove the 20 minute timer in competitive, allow for up to 60 minutes instead. I'd be happy even if they only increase to 30 instead. This is probably the ONLY issue I had with SwSh, believe it or not.
2. A simple one, but hopefully the number of new species introduced brings us to 1000 total Pokemon (not in the game, just in general). That would be a major milestone for the series.
3. New multiplayer experiences. As someone in a large family, this one is kind of a large hope that would be nice if delivered upon. Given the Switch's track record, the only game I found lacking in that department on this console is Legends: Arceus, which was fine nonetheless, it was clear that wasn't the point of the game in its set era etc.
4. Character customization. Unlike a lot of people, I actually don't hate the new protagonist designs. They look solid. However, I think a Spain-based region would have its own unique flavour of fashion like its rel-world counterpart that Gamefreak should capitalize on.
5. This one seems like a no-brainer for me, but honestly the hope is that they keep up the great work that they've already been doing (in my opinion) in story, characters, Pokemon designs, postgame, aesthetics and gameplay. As far as I'm concerned, they're already on a roll!
Bonus, if we could get skippable tutorials like SwSh that'd be great.
What I didn't include: Difficulty, because you can do all kinds of things to make the game harder for yourself, and it's a lot harder to do the reverse. I find difficulty to be very subjective (I had an easier time beating Platinum Cynthia than Leon), so it's not a priority in any way, shape or form as far as I'm concerned.
5 things I want to see is:1.Let me explore the world as I please and GameFreak don't hold my hand in the tutorial I know how to catch a Pokemon,2.Larger roster of new pokemon and regional forms precisely 98 new mons and 30 new regional forms I'm being a bit realistic here,3.Memorable character design and arcs,4.Pokemon interaction, and 5.Good postgame.
Ooh i would love something like max raids To come back
