** ABOUT US **
We are an English family, Alex Molly and Sandra living the Portugal farm life.
This year will be our eighth year here so we have a lot to share.

Bringing you every aspect of our daily farm lives, including Molly and Alex cooking amazing meals in our old wood fired Portuguese bread oven and sharing our recipes with you, plus everything involved in running a working goat farm 🐐🐐🐐🐐.

Follow us as we renovate the buildings around our old bread oven and other buildings on the farm with natural materials, re-building and planting the vegetable patch after the fire destroyed it all.

Building the new goat barn and milking parlour🍼, our days with the goats, births and milking them.
Molly making soaps🛀🧴 and many types of cheeses🧀🧀 from our own goats milk.
Watch what we grow, daily farm life and chores, visiting local sites and showing you the local area.
Plus lots more……… and the milking goats!🐐🐐🐐

“Quinta” stands for ‘farm’ in Portuguese. “Fonte da Pipa” means “Source of the Barrel”

  1. You really do have a community of helping each other, I keep seeing the same faces on other blogs, great that you can still do that, helping each other in return, or just because you want to.
Thank you for showing here that there still is a possibility to live and work like this.

  2. Another great video! Good to see Oli and Jana working with you, they are such incredible help. Having a mate to work along side us really helps one's energy as we tackle challenges together. Fencing is looking good👍🏼. I'm not surprised that Jana took on those brambles, i think she's hooked on how her hard work truly transforms a landscape and reveals hidden beauties – that's got to be great for the soul of ferocious bramble warriors and beholders of their work.

Glad you all got to visit the cheese festival. Wow, Molly, you killed that rock climbing wall 💪🏼👱🏼‍♀️! It is always cool to see & hear you interacting with folks in Portuguese, it's inspiring really.

Muffin and Nancy are so adorable. Hope Dolly continues to get better and recovers. Her twins are so cute. More goat crack for mum, bless her. So appreciate how loving you are with your goats as well as the dogs and Fred (not all people are as kind and considerate of their animals). Dolly is sure to feel all the love💗.

Thank you for the video, folks. It was a wonderful surprise to start my day with. 🤗

  3. Thanks Alex and Molly. Put a smile on my face after a stressfilled week . You could just put a camera inside the goatshed for 30minutes and that would satisfy me🐐🐐🐐❤

  4. I have some of Molly's favourite chilli cheese that promotes a healthy digestive system and Donald trump like poops for you! Nice to see Alex swallowing sausage even if it is a little less salty than he is accustomed to. Great to see how much the amazing Oil and Jana are doing on the farm. A great video folks.

  5. Hope your sick goat recovers . Ive read studies done here & they say pine bark in the diet inhibits or kills worms ! Who knew . ( probably you did ) mixed results with garlic & pumpkin seeds .. glad you’ve got some help for a while it’ll boost your morale because we know you were getting “ tired “ of stuff . Good video ,see you next week !
