Interesting vlog. Am a bit confused by it. Some things you mention are good, then you talk of all the bad !! Grafitti, room rates, noisy etc. Appreciate you are doing this on a shoestring budget, would anyone think they could stay anywhere with what might resemble a bed to lay your head on for 37 quid a night in the main tourist holiday location of a European country.
My question to you as I'm about to book my holiday is would you recommend the Algarve or Scotland ?

Apart from making good content, how much would it cost to get a taxi from the airport to Albufeira, when you factor in the cost of the room in Faro and money lost on room originally booked plus taxi to Faro?

Could’ve been worse Kevin….as a student in 1979 I went to Malta with a crowd and when we got into our rooms we found they were “inward looking”. When we opened the blinds the windows were bricked up…no kidding! At least you had a view of the main street😆

Compared to what you showed us of the Vulcano Kevin the difference is night and day isn't it. Just as well your only staying one night. But I finding it fascinating seeing a bit of Portugal. I always thought the Algarve might be quite nice. And I'd like to see Lisbon.
