  1. I'm over 3 minutes into the video, and you've repeated the same non-information over and over again, talking about Tenerife (which is irrelevant), telling us you're going to tell us about the scam you promised us in a minute, etcetera etcetera. At this point, I've paused the video and I am officially giving up on ever getting any useful information. My suggestion for future videos is that you cut to the chase and stop filling your videos with frustrating nonsense.

  2. Hi Kevin.
Another scam that's used particularly in Torremolinos and many other European holiday destinations is the map scam
A girl and a guy or sometimes two guys will will put a large city map in front of your face and ask for directions to somewhere on it.
I've seen them do this to elderly couples in particular.
While your concentrating on the map they are trying your pockets and the other member is trying to steal from your lady's handbag. So be aware of this scam in many holiday locations.
Just walk away without talking to them.Great vids Kevin! 🎥

  3. This is my 2nd or 3rd visit to this video. I was in Tenerife in 2019, and we did not experience any scams, but I attributed that to blending in. We speak the language so perhaps we were not targeted, although anyone can get targeted. So Kevin is warning us about not revealing where you keep your valuables. Thank you.

  4. I couldn't understand what the scam was. I have been to Tenerife and mainland peninsula in Spain. No one tried to scam us. We are Portuguese and Spanish, born and raised in the US, but we speak Spanish. Maybe they target the tourist if you don't blend in. Can someone explain what the scam was? I couldn't understand Kevin, but love his accent.

  5. Definitely had the bracelet one attempted on me and my wife in Lisbon. They put it on your wrist and say it’s a gift and then try to ask you for a donation. They are persistent too and don’t take no for an answer. Finally had to just toss the thing on the ground and walk away.

  6. You might see a lot of things in Faro but every *Portuguese person I have ever come across has been lovely in over 30 years of repeat return travel. Not as rowdy & over commercialised as Spain yet, thank goodness.

  7. Thanks for the advice.Perhaps the response from the 90s would be useful.Inglese,no money! They won't know if your Scottish.
In Bologna my wife asked what appeared to be a student for assistance with getting her case on a train. He lifted it into the carriage then put his hand out for money.
Quick as a flash my wife came back with"I don't have any cash"Here a teenager will help a old lady onto the bus and think nothing of it.A"Thank you "is sufficient"
    What's wrong with these people.

  8. 7:40 The whole video was worth watching just to see the rare sight of the homosapien (guy) sitting with his beer in cafe type pub. What a privilege and fantastic sight – one that normally takes hours and days of painstaking patience to capture. Pity you couldn't zoom in and get a close up but of course the dangers of approaching such an unpredictable animal are enormous.
10:50 Why did that blonde bird in front of you turn round to you and shout 'small dick' ? Are you walking around Albufeira without your G string on?
