Thanks Joric for this update. On the airport front, given our 2-hour + experience arriving at Lisbon Airport in late October and the semi-chaotic process we also experienced when leaving from Lisbon, I’m considering arriving into Faro (connecting via other European cities) and leaving from Porto to avoid Lisbon’s airport. I’m assuming both arrival and departure processes thru those airports are somewhat more dignified than Lisbon. Any thoughts on that approach? 🤔 Cheers.
The key, for my situation anyhow, is getting that first appointment with SEF!! It took me 4 months of calling regularly, but it happened! My second appointment was made at the first appointment and I still have to go back because I was missing an apostille on my birth certificate…At the second appointment I was given a card with an open appointment so I can go any time!! My point…Get that first appointment and then it's just time and gathering the proper documents which were not exactly the 'listed' documents!! Phew…I am almost there! Just received my BC from the US!!
