Before starting, I need to make two remarks:
1 – Not all people from the same region or city speak the same way.
2 – There is no better or worse accent. There is a different accent.
São Luís
The capital accent has a lot od diphthongization, when the sound of a vowel turns into the sound of a diphthong. This happens a lot when a syllable ends with a vowel followed by S or Z.
Salvador
Salvador accent is very similar to the São Luís accent.
Sometimes it’s hard to tell the difference between a baiano accent and a maranhense accent.
Recife
Most people in Recife pronounce the S chiado.
When a Brazilian speaks “chiando”, it means that he pronounces the S with this sound: SH, Sh.
This way of pronouncing S chiado is also present in other parts of Brazil.
Rio de Janeiro
The champion city for chiado is Rio de Janeiro.
And besides the S chiado, the Rio accent also has a unique characteristic the sound of the letter R.
Belo Horizonte
The retroflex R arose from the difficulty that some indigenous peoples had to pronounce the R of European Portuguese.
This R is more present in the South region and in the Triângulo Mineiro.
Goiânia
The accents of Sul de Minas, Triângulo Mineiro and Goiânia are very similar.
You can only tell who is from Goiás and who is from Minas because of some expressions.
São Paulo
São Paulo is one of the largest immigration centers in Brazil and receives a huge number of Brazilians from all regions of Brazil.
That’s why there are different ways of speaking here, several accents.
Curitiba
The most characteristic sounds of the Curitiba accent are the consonants t, d and the vowel e.
This way of speaking is a legacy of the strong European immigration during the 19th century.
Porto Alegre
The accents of Porto Alegre and Curitiba have some things in common.
For example, the presence of vibrant R and retroflex R.

I've been looking for this kind of resource since I started learning Brazilian Portuguese.
Why is this so helpful?
Because, as a language learner, I look for resources that help me learn to pronounce and use words in Brazilian Portuguese.
Often, when listening to different people presenting similar content, there were variations in the way the same word was pronounced. ex. one person would use an 'esh' sound, another a 'sh' sound for the 's' in the same word.
The pronunciation differences left me confused about 'how to say the word'. Which made me less willing to try to speak in Portuguese.
Fortunately I have a friend in Brazil who introduced me to the concept of 'accent'.
Understanding the variety of 'accents' was helpful. However, I had no information on the main differences between various 'Brazilian accents' and no idea of the general region where I would expect to hear a particular accent.
Your video content gives me exactly the information I was looking for!
Once I choose the accent I find easiest to use, I hope to become more deliberate and consistent in the way I speak.
An added benefit for me is that by knowing the main differences between accents, I can train my ears to hear a wider range of Brazilian Portuguese without getting confused.

Porque, como aprendiz de idiomas, procuro recursos que me ajudem a aprender a pronunciar e usar palavras no Português do Brasil.
Muitas vezes, ao ouvir pessoas diferentes apresentando conteúdo semelhante, havia variações na forma como a mesma palavra era pronunciada. ex. uma pessoa usaria um som 'esh', outra um som 'sh' para o 's' na mesma palavra.
As diferenças de pronúncia me deixaram confuso sobre 'como dizer a palavra'. O que me deixou menos disposta a tentar falar em português.
Felizmente tenho um amigo no Brasil que me apresentou o conceito de 'sotaque'.
Compreender a variedade de 'acentos' foi útil. No entanto, eu não tinha informações sobre as principais diferenças entre vários 'sotaques brasileiros' e nenhuma idéia da região geral onde eu esperaria ouvir um determinado sotaque.
O conteúdo do seu vídeo me dá exatamente a informação que eu estava procurando!
Uma vez que eu escolho o sotaque que acho mais fácil de usar, espero me tornar mais deliberado e consistente na maneira como falo.
