Hi Kev, fine video as always, the Missus and I have been to the Algarve a couple of times in the 90's, but I don't recognise some of it now, suppose that's progress. A fella is on his way home after a night on the beer when he comes across a Chinese Takeaway he hasn't seen before, goes in and asks the little guy behind the counter " what's the name of this shop ?", the little guy says "WOK WOK ", the lad says " WHO'S THERE". Take care buddy.

Stayed in Praia da Rocha last Oct/Nov for a month, was great, loved it. Trying to decide on going again this year or hit up thailand. Will be watching your videos to help in decision thanks.

the beach area looks a bit run down now, i went about 3 years ago it seemed ok, probably just pandemic neglect.

You can access the beach apparently on a slope for disabled by the Jupiter Algarve hotel.

I watch the Portugal vids trying to jog my memory, I went there a few times many many years ago probably early 90’s, changed loads (I think) good vids mate 👍

Was there in 1994 and 95, brought back memories, stayed in club praia da rocha which i seen was next to squash club apartments, happy times!

I went to this resort 22 yrs ago, when they were just thinking of building the marina. A lovely little resort back then, and was a great few bars with Taffy's bar at the opposite end of the road from the marina.
