The African Union has called for an immediate investigation into the deaths of at least 23 people trying to cross from Morocco into Spain. On Friday, about 2,000 migrants and refugees stormed the heavily-fortified border between Morocco and the Spanish enclave of Melilla. Claire Herriot reports.

But that was and still is a direct threat to European countries to have the whole of Africa make key decisions about Africa itself as a whole which would shift the balance of power. Now you get countries like the England sending their unwanted migrants to a undemocratic country like Rwanda with no opposition. Now most African leaders have their wealth deeply rooted with no interest in helping Africa when it’s clear that’s the only way. Only a few African countries have joined together but more have been splitting ever since independence
