Hi, you know I smoked since I was 15 n I quit smoking one and a half years ago. I tried to quit several times but what really helped was Nicolette Gum (the cheaper brands work the same and is what I use. ) But yes, I had gotten the beginning of C.O.P.D. and then they found a spot in my lung so that really made me want to stop. Then I had a Stroke. I should have stopped smoking long ago n maybe I wouldn't have gotten these problems. I really wish you would try to stop smoking before you get any bad problems too. I never listened to people n this is what happens when you don't listen I guess. It was very hard for the first month, but I toughed it out n now I can breathe better n I feel better n when I'm near a smoker, the smell of the smoke is aweful. I have to get away from the smoke. Now I know what people meant about smoke smelling bad. Lol.

I hope you don't get mold in there. You may need a dehumidifier til you get the leaking stopped. Mold spores are very toxic n can kill you n Zoey.

Hey jasper, the rain and cold, a miserable time of year for building. I don't know how cold it gets there but it would make your life on the construction site so much more comfortable with a heater of some kind just to get the chill out. Just a suggestion. I had a little radiate heat heater in my garage when I was building and it was nice to get warmed up when needed.

You might not make it to the end of the remodel with the smoking that will kill you first…oh well…

The shelves would be good for your kitchen products, soup tomatoes you get it. You need lime for the walls and DO NOT use cement if you do you are going to create rising damp. You know this stuff.

I love the way Zoey keeps checking up on you. Staying close and making sure your on the job. The tarp will keep the rest of the roof dry. The little jobs your cracking on with and it's looking good. Love the morning walk scenery 😍. Zoey's friend is keeping her fit, he will loose interest. The rain is heavy, you may need to move into the new wing for the winter…..You have a great plus Jasper the window shutters, they keep so much heat in, I have some on my house and we use them more when it's frosty and snowing. I would hang a curtain over the door too, it will keep out drafts and keep you warmer too. Everything is looking so good and your plan is coming to fruition. The end is in sight, you will be planning your next jobs, inbetween the weather. Stay safe, keep the hammer going.

Glad you had some tarps around. I was originally thinking you could have throw your pool up there. lol But you got it covered. That was heavy rains that went on all day. Glad you keep busy and switched gears to inside work. Good for you! And what progress you made too.
