  1. What an amazing space you have to rebuild. It will be a beautiful farm. All of the houses have something special about them. Can't wait to see the finish.
And congratulations on the pregnancy. What a wonderful place for children to grow up in. ❤

  2. Congratulations on your wonderful news of a little one that will soon be joining the 3 of you and congratulations on your wonderful new adventure. Loved watching this episode and looking forward to many more. Take care 🥰xxx

  3. Beautiful property! Can't wait to see the patio uncovered. And the courtyard. It's going to be a ton of work to get it all sorted out but I can tell that you are already in love with it. Looking forward
to seeing you tame it and make it your home. Best to all!

  4. Welcome to Portugal. I am in the States but a good friend — 1st generation Portuguese American — is working on the farm he inherited. No one had lived on it for decades — so like yours, it was overgrown and wild. As for the orange trees — do not cut them down but start trimming them. Take out the dead wood and cutting back the top. You will have less fruit next year but then they should flourish. As for the plates, glassware, etc. Buying new will be extremely expensive — but if you cannot stand them, talk to the parish priest. He will know of families in need. The Portuguese people are friendly but also very proud. The priest will know how to approach the families that need the items. There is also a large Ex-Pat community in Portugal and some are making do with the bare minimum because all their money is going into their homes and they did not ship items in. Cindy (from South Africa) — her channel is Cindy Vine Portugal — might give you some ideas of who could use things. Joseph Marsh — Farmer for Fun — is located in Fundao — his wife is Portuguese — they are a wealth of information also. My friend is traveling back to the US either today or tomorrow to get all his ducks in a row and does not know exactly when he will return. Good luck :o)

  5. Ahh I have been waiting to see what your plans were in Portugal, its all very exciting and I will be eagerly watching to see how the property transforms over time. However!! Even more exciting news and congratulations on the future addition to your family, a brother or sister for Crusoe, that is brilliant news. Take care and stay safe.

  6. How wonderful to find a fellow Zimbabwean on a Portuguese You Tube channel! Were are you from? I spent the 1st 16 years of my life in Gweru/Gwelo. We have a place in the Algarve but have just returned from a trip to Porto. Good luck with your renovation!

  7. You will learn how to make wine 🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷🍷
They say is not that hard
Congratulations from Montreal Quebec. All the best ❤️🌹🌹❤️

  8. Ohhhhh don't mention chickens FFS tell the neighbours to get there animals locked up the newbys are in town 🤣😂.property is amazing can't wait to see it getting it's makeover …👍👍👍

  9. Wow. Congratulations on the new property and the pregnancy! Lots of surprised and a Busy life ahead. I look forward to following as it unfolds. The property is beautiful. The houses are a little confusing but interesting. Eager to see where you put the parents and children to sleep as you build out. So many questions: Are you keeping your van? Do you still have a home in England or is this your forever home?

  10. Love the front gate. I'd never throw out anything I didn't like. Some of it can be useful for now while renovating. More likely to lose or brake things like glasses etc then than because of the chaos. As for things you don't want, take them to a second hand shop. The different sections of the garden would make great places for veggie garden on one. chicken in another, and leave one as a big blank space for kids to run around

  11. CONGRATULATIONS!! What an exciting time for you all?! Your property looks beautiful – can’t wait to see what you do with it. If your van is anything to go by, it will be gorgeous!
I so admire your vision, energy and positive attitude – you’re an inspiration, and loving sharing your journey xx

What a brilliant project you have set yourselves, you certainly have some get up and go in you both ! It was fascinating seeing you going around your new home, it was quite emotional seeing you both walking around with a vision written across your gazes. I have no doubt the transformation will be brilliant be it in months or years you will be truly blessed whatever the end product becomes ! We look forward to seeing two remarkable events in the coming months. Your zest for life astounds us, good luck xx

  17. John, Tara and Crusoe, a really fascinating vlog. Congratulations on the future new addition. As friends of mine found out elsewhere, in can be challenging renovating an old property in Portugal. But if you accept the ups and downs you will love the life. If you can learn some Portuguese that would be beneficial I recall. I noticed a good few unopened bottles of wine! Hopefully they will still be drinkable! Look forward to updates and Good Luck!

  18. Congratulations on baby two ❤️💐What an absolute gem of a property
😀 I agree with the Tree house section, and recycling everything is very in/fashionable at the moment, so keep items and they will definitely come in handy, you will eventually match them up 😁❤️🏆👏
