  1. Wow! It’s been pretty warm up there also. I live in New Jersey, and my area has had a heat wave for approximately three consecutive weeks. It finally broke through, and the last two days have been beautiful. Wishing you the best!

  2. You do not want to live next to that tower. So sad. I actually had a friend with a tower… The whole family and even myself was off kilter in that house. The vibe was always weird. Hyper or totally drained. Believe me.

  3. A lot of people are moving to Portugal and have YouTube channels. You are already friends with the Indie Project, they know people that may be able to help you find a place. There is another channel, called the Newbys.

  4. You couldn’t pay me to live in the countryside of Portugal. Have you not heard of the hundreds of wildfires? The government is not well equipped to fight these fires. The Serra da Estrela Natural Park just lost 16,000 acres in the recent fires. With the summers getting hotter and the thousands of abandoned agricultural fields, the fires rage for days. Property owners are quite greedy in Portugal thanks to the many Brits and French paying high prices over the last 10 years. The property prices have increased over 60% in a decade. Foreigners need to stop being so gullible and naive. Portugal is way overpriced and it is not the paradise that you imagine. Locals can no longer afford to buy as things are priced to attract foreigners. Does that seem like a good or fair system to you? If the government really cared about its people they would create regulations so the ruins and land would be sold to the Portuguese at reasonable prices. Instead, those worthless ruins are sold to foreigners who think they’re getting a deal!

  5. Ha! You get rid of wild boar with a high-powered rifle and night vision… oh and a healthy apatite for pork… could be another income opportunity too if there is enough of them… or at least share the meat with the neighbors… more loaves of bread and strawberries sharing that way…

  6. You guys should seriously consider putting A/C in the camper van if you're staying in Portugal. The weather is not going to get better in future years.

I'd be more annoyed about the road noise than the tower. Contrary to what many "conspiracies" say, they're harmless.

Wow, I didn't know that the Vale dos Homens beach recovered the sand it lost in 2014! It's also much larger than what I remember! 😮

  7. What a great video! So frustrating again! That last property I felt sure was you guys all over but like I always say "EVERYTHING happens for a reason" the next one will be even better! Gutter though as looked amazing! And like you say you made a couple of new friends so I'm sure they'd be happy to offer advice (given he's clearly an off Grid sustainable living expert in Portugal! And seems a real nice guy)..
Anyhow keep going guys you'll find the right one!
    Cheers from London 👍😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

  8. Have you two held hands and asked God to lead you to buy the right property? 🙏
When I do things by my own choice without seeking an answer from the Lord it doesn't always turn out well
I'm praying that God will give you both discernment in finding your place under the sun that brings peace.

  9. Your videos are always the best I get notified each time you post a new video. Investments should always be on any creative man's list for success in life…by the way thanks for recommending me to Mr Richard Willis the crypto expert whom you said has helped you a lot he has really changed my life I'm grateful..

  10. No wonder those ruins don't sell. You have so much land, but you're only allowed to build (re-build) the original foundation?!!!!!??!?!?! That last L-shaped "house"… would you be able to build multiple floors on it or only the original one and only floor?

  11. Feeling your discouragement. Property hunting is in itself very exhausting under the best conditions. Add to it the many challenges in Portugal of property zones, rules, laws, and limitations, and you have a temptation to just have a good cry! Well…get on with it! Tomorrow is a new day, and perfection is not realistic. Your property will find you! God has a plan sometimes more exciting than we can imagine! That is what builds faith! Peace and love coming your way and lots of prayer going upward my friends,

  12. Mrs adventurer reminds me of my mom. She would find a great psc of property and tell all her friends. But she would procreate until someone else bought it. On a piece of property like that you have to really
Have your heart into it. And it was far from the ocean. Would Mrs
Adventure be happy that far from the water. And if you find d a good property that suits you both bid on it.

  13. We love all your videos and adventures. However your travels seem to be going in a different direction. I realize we don't see every property you visit, however the ones we do see are beyond any reasonable cost to repair, most have a terrible water source as well as access road. I think you need to visit a much better level of housing, one way or another if you buy a real fixer upper the cost of a repair will overwhelm you. Keep at it and hope you find the right one. Materials and labor plus permits will be almost impossible.

  14. Take your time. Still not quite sure why you want to move there as opposed to USA..PNW…ie washington or oregon. After awhile you will miss your family and friends and if you have kids you will be so far from them. I used to live in the country and after kids got a reality check… Just saying. Please explain one more time why to live overseas. Thanks a bunch.

  15. Man you guys! That one had you written all over it. Check back to see if it falls through….And when you get a hit; just take the plunge. A beautiful property is like a hot guy. If you want him, you need to claim him before that other bi..ch does. (just being vulgar for fun).

  16. you guys are SO CLOSE to 100k subs!!!! I've been subscribed since the start, and they say the first 100k is the hardest, so I'm pretty sure all your hard work is paying off in spades! Keep up the good work. I feel like I'm riding along with you guys. Just make sure to stay transparent (we like the good and not so good). Also, nice sponsor collaboration this video 🙂

  17. Like you I travelled overland to a foreign country. Loved it and decided to stay. Looked at many properties was shown many properties, got sick of all the looking. I stopped looking and some months later out of the blue my dream property with a river, forest, and one acre of land found me.

  18. That semi detached ruin is far too expensive! If you put an offer on anything always start low low. . . I offered 20k below asking and got accepted. Best of luck 🤞
