The fourth day of our 10 day trip to Castelo Branco for Round 2 of my search for our forever farm. Today I see 1 property – the off-grid farm in Escalos de Baixo. I’ve included some footage of the weekend and my musings about the farms I’ve seen and how much my thoughts are being consumed with the farm I loved so much. Then briefly touch on Day 6 of farm viewings planned where things start to heat up on my decision.

Have you looked around the Fundao area? The views there are so beautiful. A youtuber, Farmer for Fun, shows properties near his farm. Just a thought. Also, maybe you should visit some of the youtubers or other foreigners who are renovating farms to get an idea on what it is really like. Good Luck! It is a hard decision. Seems to be so many places for sale. A lot of the ones you are viewing are on youtube also. See you next time. Thanks for sharing your jouney.
it seems that real estate prices worldwide have risen dramatically over last few years and there seems to be a general sense forming price corrections are coming. what are your thoughts?

It seems you've kinda made up your mind about that place.
If so, take a piece of paper, draw a vertical ligne with Pros & Cons.
Then you'll see if it's worth putting an offer or not.
