Personally, I would've bottled up my anger, waited/plotted something for weeks/months until the he stepped onboard, and then take action, sabotaging the vessel underway or whatnot… assassinate him, dump his body at sea…
He put 9 peoples lives at stake, his politics don't matter, he should his certificates cancelled.

I think the Ukrainian engineer just gave his billionaire owner a gift. Since the yacht was not a war casualty, this could be covered by vandalism insurance and the owner gets a good chunk of his money back.
This man deserves a medal for his efforts,and bravery in returning to the Ukraine. I hope the yacht crews around the world take note.
