Today we share Schengen updates for Croatia, Bulgaria, and Romania, for 2023, as well as upcoming ETIAS expectations. The Schengen is a hurdle for travelers that desire to spend time in Europe limiting the amount of time a visitor has within the block. The Schengen is getting larger in 2023 with the addition of Croatia, and we expect Bulgaria and Romania in the not too distant future. ETIAS is the European Travel Information and Authorisation System and will go into effect in November 2023. Travelers must apply for and receive approval before being allowed into the Schengen countries, it’s a background check that will allow access for three years.

KOsovo, Albania and Macedonia are nice. I have yet to go to Bosnia and Montenegro.
I am seeing news of devastating floods in Antalya, As well as other countries. True news or hyper inflated to tie into the end of the world? Looks very bad from what I've seen. Hope you're high, dry and safe.

It seems like there is more and more motivation for folks from places like the US and Canada to get a visa for residency in one of the Schengen zone countries.
If I was picking today, I might get a D7 visa in Portugal where I could spend half the year, and then spend the other half wherever else within Schengen or out.
Thank you so much.
