We are on the move again in Portugal. We take the Fertagus train from Setúbal to Lisbon Sete Rios. Then by Rede Expressos from Lisbon to Oliveira do Hospital at the gateway to the Serra da Estrela Natural Park.
We show you the best way to travel from Setúbal to Lisbon on public transport and give you a tour of Sete Rios train and bus stations. Then explain how to travel to the more remote parts of Portugal using the national Rede Expressos bus network.
The scenery heading out to the mountains in the Parque Natural da Serra da Estrela is quite spectacular. Here we will be house sitting on an off grid quinta for 3 weeks. A great way for some Frugal Travellers to explore this part of Portugal.
