Should I get a residence permit for Albania? I am going through the process of gathering the necessary documents to apply for residence in Albania. I’m just following the instructions and I hope it goes smoothly. In some countries, the process is chaotic and indecipherable. I hope the process for Albania is straight forward.

This is my second time in Albania and I’m going to be exploring some business and investment opportunities in the small scale artisan food and ecotourism areas.

We have loads of experience in food service (owned and operated restaurants) and homesteading and small scale agriculture and permaculture.

I’m just a guy with a wife and we’re looking to leave the U.S for at least half of the year. We’re in our 50’s and aren’t ready to retire so we want to buy a house or apartment or plot of land and join the Albanian renaissance that I believe is unfolding. I welcome any ideas or input as long as it is polite!
