  1. sorry to see your piglets go but at least you have some space for the other expecting female,by the time you know it you will some cute ones ,I wonder what colour would they be?by the way do you know any affordable hotel in Castelo Branco.
Looking forwards to the next one.

  2. I have the most amazing Malawian man that works for me Cindy, I wish I could send him to you for a month 😊 we’re so spoilt in SA having help so readily available. But you’re doing a great job… girls really do rock 🙌🏻

Someone mentioned plastic to line ponds, it’s expensive and the pigs feet will just make holes. Perhaps cementing would make more sense 🤔 just a thought…

  3. Great video. I enjoyed the pig wrangling! I know that you probably want to go with the least expensive tools on your list but honestly don't. My cousin told me to buy Dewalt and I didn't want to spend that much so I bought Ryobi for half that much. It lasted a month. When I returned it to home depo they didn't even question my reason, they said they don't last long. I ended up buying a Dewalt after all and just love it. I did buy a black and decker jig saw recently and do like it, so far its working great . Maybe I just got a bad ryobi tool but I wouldn't ever recommend them since the guys st home depo said they're not reliable. As far as the kid pools go they're great for kids but maybe pigs are too heavy. I've bought them for my dog, a medium sz breed (20lbs) but they only last a year. They crack easily if left outside year round. They don't cost much, around $12 if that seems worth it to you for short term use.
Glad you mentioned that your cottage stays cool in summer warm in winter, wonderful!! I don't remember if you have an outdoor shower or not. That seems like a nice way to cool off in summer, or are you close to a lake?

  4. Strange nobody (none that I picked up on while glancing over the comments) mentioned anything about you being charged for the scraps. You should have named and shamed. I suspect it is a large International European discount store. Not right attitude at all. Absurd !!!!

  5. I wish I didn't live on the other side of the world because I would be there in a flash to help you get your jobs done…
And yes just prioritize prioritize ,most important job to least important and slowly tick the off,you are one person living your dream and doing a great job.

  6. I am still subscribed and look forward to your farm update videos, I love the rocks lol, maybe you could slowly build rock fences for the pigs at least at the bottom and wire on top

  7. Hazel ☘️ ….
Great to be on your farm again Cindy !

Me and my toe (haha it’s healing rightly) will do as much as we can … pity my car broke down and I could not get over with my crew so didn’t get done what we’d planned … next time !

There is lots to do here and I put out a plea for volunteers … many hands make light work … working on the farm is good craic and great experience

So sad to see piglets go … but they are in loving hands with their new carers … Cocopop can have a wee rest now. … she’s done so well …

Chris is such a gentleman and a character
    🙏☘️😘

  8. Hi Cindy. I was wondering if you could use any young eucalyptus trees or pine branches to help strengthen your fence in places. Maybe wire them to the bottom of the fence. Good idea to work early & late in the day & not during the heat! I do the same when it's hot in California. The midday is great for planning, paperwork, food prep, grocery shopping, or napping. Love your videos!

  9. Fence paneling is a good investment. Cut to suit. Pig right, Horse High. Expensive investment at 25€ a piece. 16 x 4 can be moved. The electric tape holds up well mounted. Do an upgrade to ~ Buy me a Post to Buy me a Pig Panel.
