We’ve been making steady progress with hot mixed lime and filling holes in the stone walls of our utility room and we’re almost done – with this phase of this room. But we’ve been having some issues with the quicklime we’ve been using.
Join us for some less than exciting reactions and a healthy dose of timelapse as we continue on with our Portugal renovation project.
It could be the bag multiwall sheets construction : maybe the green bag have polyliner LDPE on one of their liner sheet and the red one is only paper. LDPE resin isa good barrier against humidity !!!
Johnny Bravo! You guys are the Best.
Do builder merchant easily deliver products in Portugal?
What is the mix you use on the wall's?
I read pet's have too be registered now in Portugal by end October or face a fine.
I heard pet's have to be registered now in Portugal by end off October.

Bye.
Doing great job 💕 watching you gradually pull things together
love your intro 🙂
Sounds like Kylie is a bit wore out, but progress nun the less. They are going to be beautiful rooms when they're done 👍👍💚🍻🍷
I love watching how well you two work together. It’s great watching the house coming back together
Awesome vids you guys produce. True inspiration.
Really enjoyed this video :-)!
Have you considered using a piping bag for liming the walls? I've seen it on a french channel where they were doing the same work. Albeit having to sift the sand(?) first to get out anything that can block the tube, the time saved was worth it!
Great video guys, shame about the first mix but its great to see that you do everything together.
Awesome! What a hard job. Your video time lapse makes it look easy but we all know it’s not.👍
I was wondering when you'd buy yourselves a decent water sprayer to wet out the stone before pointing lol
Yeah! Building up finally ;-))) wonder, if you will cover hemp and seagrass insulation in your coming up episode… my favourite natural ones … 😉 always fun watching you. Love it
It would be easier for you to add most of your water first. Then when you hit it with the drill to mix it up, it mixes a lot easier and quicker. You should thoroughly mix it for 3 minutes after it is initially mixed. Did it for 65 years…
