  3. Spain is one of the countries with the highest production of sunflower oil, but it does not reach the level of Ukraine and Russia, the two leading countries in its production at a global level.

    In the Ukraine, 4,400,324 tons of sunflower oil are produced each year, while in Spain around 300,000 tons are produced, which means that the national crop only covers a little less than half of the demand.

Large increases in number of people losing their homes and living in shanty towns alongside the M30. But hey, let's not try and step in and end this madness because the 'free market regulates itself', so such action would be 'communism' from the 'hard left' of Podemos.

I just went around the mulberry bush with ADTPostales, it took eight weeks to get two out of three items I ordered from a non-Spanish company, including three weeks of back and forth with the website. (Forgot to include a packing slip. Oops.) The process is a huge pain if you’re not a citizen. For their part the people at ADTP who handled my case were very polite and apologetic for the trouble. But what a lot of bureaucracy, all for a package worth less than 25€.

  15. Is everyone still wearing masks outdoors in Spain? Was in Galicia in September 2021 , and 99 % people were wearing masks outdoors eventhough was not mandatory.

  25. US gallon is 3.85 litres, UK (Imperial) gallon is 4.54 litres, so US prices per gallon to us Poms sound around 17% better than they are, but they are still very low. Diesel is £1.60 to £1.799 a litre at the moment here.

  27. I have a duplex apartment in Madrid in Arguelles. I am an American here in Los Angeles. I have not been to Madrid since January 2020; during the beginning stages of the public ado over protocol, etc. I plan to return on an extended period. I have a Golden Visa that I just renewed at the embassy here. Question: does my NIE have an expiration date? Also. I have an 18 Audi S8. What is is the process if I have let my car registration lapse for the last two years to get it reinstated? I pay insurance and had it modified for fire & theft. Is it just fees and money? I have/ had a portero(doorman) that helps me with stuff. He has retired and I am having issue with the replacement portero in returning my calls and he does not text or email. The prior portero would religiously start the car once every few weeks for me. I have a battery tender hooked up and plugged in. The new portero told me he unplugged it as it is s fire hazzard!!! This one told me last we spoke that he is not a mechanic and that cars are bad for the environment.
