Potential outcomes of Russian aggression
1. Russia continues the march across Europe as Germany did in the the 1930's establishing autocratic governments and Spain returning to the days of Franco.
2. Re-establish the Iron Curtain at the border countries of NATO.
3. Russians over throw the Putin government.
4. World War III.

I do not like any of these outcomes except the over throw of Putin. It seems sad days may be ahead.

It's called an outcome. Russia has never had a positive and peaceful relationship with Europe anyway, not least in the last 250 years, given the legacies of countless invasions. Spain should make every effort for Peace to prevail and encourage talks between the Kremlin and Kyiv.

NATO crossed Russia's red line. This is a limited military incursion.

The Blue Brigade fought with the Ukrainian Nazis as German allies of Nazi Germany against the Soviet Union. Russia has not forgotten. Russia is not an enemy of Spain, so why make one. Not even Israel is sending weapons. Spain will need good relations.

Hi Stu, I enjoy your videos. I recently went to Benidorm with my husband and we budjeted to spend 50 euros a day on food and drink. We stayed for 28 days in a self catering aparthotel. We spent £1500 in total not including the flight and hotel. I don't drink alcohol but my husband likes a pint. Loved every minute of it and it was very Spanish if you want it to be. Yes we get drunk where other nationalities tend not to.

Brits on holiday in Benidorm and Greece spend money like drunken sailors on shore leave. I know people, especially in their 20's, coming home and having massive credit card bills, which they can't remember spending. Germans and Swedes aren't that stupid.

I survived one January and the following February in Finland. Finish, no more Finland for me in winter despite I arrived there after two years in Ontario. The country is even but beautiful and I keep good and weird memories and anecdotes. Just one: in 2000 everybody spoke English there but gypsis… and most of coach drivers!? There were quite a lot Spanish speakers there then, at least in Turku, and many were Finnish.

The argument for not sending modern weapons to Ukraine that I heard was that nobody wanted to provoke Russia but that argument just doesn't fly anymore after Putler has threatened everyone on the planet with nuclear war.

For the Irish lady that asked the question regarding residency in Spain if it is anything like brits before Brexit, in Andalucia it would mean going to the ayuntamento to register for a padramento, then as you said a particular police station within the area to obtain your NIE. My Spanish is passable so did myself but there are always local translators if needed. Easy peasy 😀

The comment on the Irish passport holder: if the person has both then use the Irish one to travel and if the stay is longer than 90 days then a Residency Permit must be obtained. Good luck. Cita Previa Omaha been slow for years and with the crisis in Ucrania the system just got flooded. Hire a lawyer, for a modest fee they do the process a bit easier.

If the person holds a British passport then the issue is bigger because of Brexit. Again, an immigration lawyer is highly recommended. I did the process myself as I’m married to an EU Citizen and it was extremely painful.

Once again the politicians playing politics with this crisis. invasion of Ukraine is not just about that country but about democracy, freedom . . . It is a moral obligation for all Nato members to contribute to help Ukraine where the people are fighting for their freedom. Spanish Politicians in general should be ashamed of themselves playing politics with this crisis that will possibly jeopardize the entire free world. Shame on them
