We kick off our Travel Basecamp Algarve season with a day of stand up paddle boarding at Praia da Marinha, the most beautiful beach in Europe and arguably the most beautiful beach in the world (seriously). Gliding over emerald waters, our guide Nick Robinson from brings us to Benagil Cave, a massive tunnel found in Algarve’s coastal cliffs. The legendary cave was formed by centuries of erosion caused by the constant waves of the Atlantic ocean and is now so huge it literally takes your breath away once you’re inside. Getting yourself on a stand up paddle tour along this coast is one of dozens of things to do in the Algarve region. It was on our bucket list and should be on yours, too.
