China has always been an emphatic NO for me. I don’t care what they payin🤣 I fell out when you said ole girl caught her breakfast from the decorative pond😭🤢

I went on a China trip for 10 days and used a squat toilet once. Traumatized! I’d rather pee on my grown self that do that again. Also, I couldn’t get used to seeing the bottom missing from kids pants and seeing a toddler use the bathroom (#2!!) on the street. Mom didn’t even shield her in a corner! Culture shock.

My heart breaks for Hong Kong. I visited there in 2018 hoping to apply there after my Korean contract ended and shit went down 2019. The world has changed so much in the past three years.

I was offered a job to teach English in China back in 2017. While I really wanted to get the hell out of the USA, something in my spirit didn’t sit right with me going to China. Needless to say, I’m grateful that I didn’t go. China sounds like a huge hell no.
