Tavira, in the Algarve, Portugal is a must-stop location when visiting the Algarve. The Algarve is home to many hidden gems, one of which, is Tavira. This small, quaint town is located in the Eastern part of the Algarve and is filled with small shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants. After a 3 week trip to Portugal together we found ourselves with the #travelbug ! Soon after returning home we started researching ways we could travel the world on a budget. A few short years later, we quit our jobs and now #traveltheworld full-time. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences as a #travelcouple in hopes of inspiring others to do the same and follow their dream.

minha cidade, cidade mais linda do algarve sem discussão- my city, the most beautiful city in the algarve without discussion
Did you go to the French Bakery (Artisan Boulanger Français), missed getting the best stuff last time I was out, you've got to go early in the morning.
empty country with noone walking !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We moved from the UK to Tavira 5 weeks ago and we love it. The moment we came here we fell in love with the place, the beach is fabulous we have gone every week with some beers and food, so relaxing, in fact we live across from the ferry that goes to the beach, so lucky. 😊
Seemed kinda quiet there. I didn't see any graffiti. Maybe you will find yourself staying there permanently someday. Cheers
Loved the video! Protugal looks amazing!! We'll definitely add Tavira to our list.
Can I ask you how you guys support this life style ? Thanks Patrizia
Greetings B&C! Say, @ 8:22 what is that hanging on the hook next to Brian? I cannot remember being anywhere in my travels and seeing anything like that…or at least that large presented with a meal. I've been to an Argentinean restaurant that would bring out grilled vegetables like that, but not that large.
Regarding the streets and walkways. I have walked on cobblestones before that are almost ankle busters. In this video the walkways look pretty smooth. What is your assessment?
I have read that a con to staying year round in the Algarve area is the homes and condos are poorly insulated making the winters cold and damp inside. I know you are going to Faro which is an expat haven, would you mind asking some year round expats if they find this is the case? Hey, maybe even try interviewing an expat couple for a video.
Looks like you two are on another great adventure. Cheers!!
Are you guys from Bellingham, WA? I'm there now and planning to retire to Portugal in a few years. I think that's why YouTube gave me your channel as a recommendation. I'm planning to move to the area where you are now but a little east – VRSA. Can't wait to hear what you think of that area! And you should do the zip line to Spain 😉
Nice. A very rare thing is I have a family member basically on the Iberian Peninsula with you. My daughter flew from Indy to Madrid overnight. She’s going to be working at a hospital as part of her schooling. Seems like the weather is almost the same as here for the most part at the moment.
When I think of Portugal I think of Pasteis de nata, those famous pies with crumbly pastry and sweet custard filling. Can't get enough of them. But now that you're back in affordable wine country, I'd love to know if you've sampled anything worth recommending, either from the supermarket or from your trips out and about.
Gorgeous! What a fantastic next chapter the adventure of living life! All the best guys
Lovely town!! Are you guys thinking to move to Portugal like I am.
I should look at Cabanas, it sounds a great to start.
It looks beautiful but for so many of these videos it seems the streets are semi deserted. Is Tavira lively enough?
