College is a great investment, but you HAVE to have a plan. Do NOT decide to go and major in something without thoroughly researching the end goal and ROI. From there, pick community or university based on your career, cost, and personal preferences.

im not going to say college is a bad idea because obviously college is a good way to a decent paying career, but if you go make sure you're getting a damn degree that has a good ROI like a degree to be a doctor, engineer, nurse etc… dont go pay 200k for a degree to be a Tuba player. that being said, the trades are way underrated and with a year or 2 of training you can make 50k+ easily. you could also look for a company that pays for your education. i dont know the specifics completely but for example my friend works for UPS and im pretty sure they paid for his education and within a few years he was making 100k a year. if you know you are smart and you have an entrepreneurial mindset you could just skip college and start a business but thats obviously high risk. if you're good at sales you can make damn good money starting a sales business or even just being an employee.
