If you want to see how fast Canada has declined, just go visit the city of Toronto and look around and see all the trash, the filth and garbage in the ditches along the highways and on the city streets. Toronto's turned into a big garbage dump!

I don't need a second passport for another second entity to take more of my money from me. Stop the second government from robbing me of the money left over from the first government that robed me first.
We are running thru some serious problems in Canada, political, social, economical. Yes, but it is our Homeland. We all should stand up to protect it and make it Great Canada, and not run away like a rats from a sinking ship. People unite and stand for Freedom and Sucess of our Country!!!
The US should swing Conservative in by year elections this coming Nov.2022. If Conservatives seize both houses of Congress( as expected) that should slow down this March to the Left. 2024 is Presidential election. If, as expected the Presidency goes Conservative & both Congressional houses stay Conservative it would mean a definite turn away from Socialism advancement. In the meantime, come to the US you who are fleeing. Stay in our more rural states( Midwest & west), away from the cities & you will be fine. Taxes , housing & personal freedom pretty good,yet. Sure we have snow & cold too but, go to the South in the winter like alot of us do.

I didn't like your idea at all. Why? Because Canada is the country with most diversity of the people from almost all over the world. And in the beginning it supported everyone arrived here.
If we have any issue we have to correct it while staying here rather than fleeing from our duty of care for Canada. It's means you're trying to make Canadians opportunist. But I will never our leave Canada at any cost no matter what and I am pretty sure most of the Canadiens will agree to me. In stead it's our duty responsibility and obligation to fix the problem while residing here.
If we'll not take the responsibility who'll then? Please come forward and lead. It's not good at all to leave home ( Canada) when it needs us in the time of need. We need to pay attention for our generations. And also what we will do if the situation get worse in the country we'll be planning to get second citizenship?
I'd say the big one is Canadians need to get a password from a country with a TERRITORIAL TAX SYSTEM. Many Latin American countries offer this (i.e. Panama). At My Latin Life we do our best to help present the options

2:42 Real talk. I was born and raised in Canada and inadvertently found in 2019 (age 36/37) that I qualified for USA citizenship through my mother. I had my US passport in hand by year's end. You can't win if you don't play.

this guy talks about the Caribbean as if it was one country. It isn't. There are some independent countries, and others which are part of other countries. There is one aspect in which they are all the same, living cost is very high.
What about Algerian citizenship and Algeria as a country?

Doesn't Canada have agreements with most countries in the world to track their citizen's money? There have to be limited options…

Andrew, what will happen if you try to go back to the US to visit family, grandparents, friends etc? Have you ever been back to the US since you renounced your citizenship? This seems like a very risky life decision for most people just to avoid paying tax money to a country that gave you a start in life.

How many Canadians gave up 2nd citizenship when those countries wanted income taxes. Today Canada has corrupt 'government', tomorrow its somewhere else.
More people are moving their wealth out of Canada.
Andrew, you're quite astute to say that Canada is in decline, if not understating that it's already in the toilet. It is getting worse daily with very little opportunities for younger generations.
