  1. The day after I turned 14 back in the summer of 1976 my father flew me to Tahiti to spend a month cruising on a sailboat as a reward for helping some friends of the family build a 68' cutter rigged sloop made out to of ferrocement in their backyard. They were sailing the world as cruisers before cruising was a thing. I joined them in Raiatea after meeting another cruising couple that were friends of theirs that met me at the airport in Papeete and arranged the flight. The next morning we pulled anchor and headed to it's sister island Taha'a where we spent 4 days. We then moved on to Bora-Bora and were there for almost two weeks, the island dance completion was held there that year and it was a magical experience. Then we were off to Moorea which we sailed to on a rough stormy nigh. After a little over a week there we sailed back to Tahiti where my journey began and where we stayed for the remainder of my time until I flew back to California. That trip changed the course of my life and taught me at a young impressionable age there was a big beautiful world out there full of kind welcoming people and a life full of adventure for those willing to seek it. I am 60 now, raised a family I am proud of and am out fulfilling that dream I have had since then and traveling the world for as long as I can before I settle back down. I have been in south and central America now for the last two year but greetings from Thailand. I will be here for a couple more months before I am off to the Temple region of Cambodia where Angkor Wat awaits and beyond. Live life while you can my friends and consider a life of exploration not expectations.

  2. WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE TO EAT OCTOPUS?! 😡😡😡🐙🐙🐙😢😢😢 If you had ANY idea how intelligent they are, you wouldn’t dream of depriving them of life! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

  3. WE Just came back from Turkish Rivera Trip. 17 days stay at Fethiye , Marmaris and Dalyan, was spectacular, we just decided after seen this video, next year we are headed to Brando Island ,Thank you for this wonderful Video .

  4. I purchased beachfront property in Tahiti in September 2022. Now, I'll be spending the next few years slowly, but surely building the home that eventually I will die in. A moratorium from this life into the next life. To all the kitties I've lost including my beloved grandparents, all of whom who gave me unconditional love, wait for me. I am coming home soon one day.

  5. We enjoy your channel very much. There are many places we have added to our "must go there" list! My all time favorite is Soneva Jani in the Maldives!! It is absolutely perfect! I dream of diving the walls in the Maldives someday. Thank you for incorporating more experiences in your vids lately! I think a lot of people want to know what to DO at the resorts! So seeing snorkeling, jet skiing, swimming with whale sharks(!) is wonderful!! But, with every vid we watch, we have the same three comments. You have over 1 million subscribers. It is time to invest in a hand-held stabilizer. Yes, we see the bounce of your walk. Sometimes it is much worse than others (like walking on sand!). I would think a stabilizer would make you look more professional, too. Then there is the toilet lid. WHY would you not put the lid down? No one wants to walk into a luxury resort room and look into a toilet! It takes just a second to put it down. I worked in a luxury real estate office and no photos of toilets with lids up were allowed! Period! And, finally, it would be really nice, if you could edit into your shots of the plated food, the name of the dish! We pause the vids so we can read the menu choices so it would be great if you were to let us know what dishes you are showcasing! We look forward to your next video.

  6. I was there for 1 week in 1997 and it was completly diferent … it was the time of my life, I left my soul there…. but what they have done to Tetiaroa ruin it completly, they have have artificilised it losing its prestine way…. and they threw my soul away…. shame on you for destroying the paradise….
